Building Surveyors Jobs and Recruitment

‘Chartered building surveyors are involved in all aspects of property and construction, from supervising large mixed-use developments to planning domestic extensions’ (RICS definition)

While some people might say building surveyors are happiest talking to buildings rather than people, we feel differently. We like to work with personable, engaging individuals and we hunt for candidates who are our kind of people. That’s why choosing the right fit of client and candidate is fundamental to our business.

If you want to become chartered, you need to complete the Assessment of Professional Competence, run by the RICS. It usually takes two years (though if you have a lot of experience or a MSc, you can be fast-tracked). Expect to log your hours and provide proof of your training during this time, as well as having regular meetings with a supervisor. Many of our consultancies will support employees through their training.
